Orwell

I chose this site and picture http://academic.brooklyn.cuny.edu/history/dfg/core/ussr.jpg because it's a picture of the political structure of the U.S.S.R. I decided this was a good example of Orwellian because it shows the ranks from State, Administration, and Party CPSU and the State and Party converge into Administration as if that's the only way to get to Presidium. I believe it's Orwellian because it shows a Totalitarianism of how their congress works. It's the only way to reach such ranks in their congress.

Another site I fully agree on in an Orwellian sense is http://home.pacbell.net/smills14/hitler.jpg. When people even look at a picture like that they remember the Totalitarian government Hitler was insisting on that the German race was by far more superior to any other especially to the Jews living in Germany. He set up his army and a lot of Germany to accept Hitler's sins and agree to what Hitler was doing was just. Thankfully that evil was stopped unfortunatly not soon enough.

One final example comes from an article http://www.townhall.com/columnists/edwinfeulner/ef20041116.shtml called "Creeping Totalitarianism". This talks about not allowing writers in a paper allowing to ask certain questions and or to try to "officially endorse persidential candidates" (Edwin J. Feulner).
